NUSD Board of Trustees meeting Tuesday, December 16, 2025, Open Session begins at 6:00 pm.  The Agenda may be found at this link or at www.nusd.org => Board Agenda (link from homepage, top right).

 

Board agenda items include:

  • Annual Reorganization of the Board

  • Discussion/Action:

    1. Acceptance of the 2024-2025 Parcel Tax Oversight Committee Annual Report

    2. Approval of the 2025-2026 First Interim Budget Report

    3. Approval of the 2025-2026 Contract with King Consulting for Professional Services to provide comprehensive support to maximize State School Facility Program eligibility, secure State funding, and manage all required applications, audits, and compliance

    4. Approval of Resolution for E.F. Brett and Company as the Best Value Contractor and to Approve and Award the Lease-Leaseback Agreement for the Mini Gym Repair Project at the San Marin High School to E.F. Brett and Company

Public Comments 

Individuals may address the Board of Trustees on agenda items on both the closed session and regular session agenda at the time they are under consideration. At a time so designated on the agenda at a regular meeting, individuals may address the Board on non-agenda items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board. All times noted on the agenda are estimates. Community members interested in making a public comment are advised to attend the meeting at the start.

 

In general, individual speakers will be allowed three minutes to address the Board on each agenda or non-agenda item with a total time limit on each item to 20 minutes. However, in exceptional circumstances when necessary to ensure full opportunity for public input, the Board president may, with Board consent, adjust the amount of time allowed for public input and/or the time allotted for each speaker. (Board Bylaw 9323) 


The Board shall take no action or discussion on any item not appearing on the posted agenda, except as allowed by law. (Education Code 35145.5, Government Code 54954.2)  The Superintendent and staff will respond to speakers within 48 hours.
